Tom -- A number of people have found useful the chapter, "Strategies for
Rare Cell Detection and Isolation" (Chapter 20 - pages 332-358), in
Methods in Cell Biology vol. 42 (1994). I tried to discuss both
theoretical limitations and very practical hints on cell staining,
