Question #1
Does TdT assay detect both single strand breaks and double strand
breaks? or it only detects double strand breaks?
Question #2
If cells are damaged with a lesion known to produce 3'-OH end in two
strands at different sites, how to differentiate the positive stained
cells are with the lesion, or with double strand breaks, or are
apoptotic cells, besides their position at SubG0 or at other phases
(e.g.G2)? Or the lesion would be repaired and the half life is too
short to be detected?
